The bad move they made was going with the 32 Bit Core Duo/Solo processors for the first Intel Macs, knowing that the 64 Bit Core 2 Duo processors were just a few months later. Any app that's built with Apple's 32-bit software libraries needs to be updated so it will run in 64-bit mode. It always bugged me that this is even necessary, Apple really should have gone 64 bit from the very beginning of the transition to Intel. When selecting multiple apps at once and revealing them in the Finder, Go64 will open as few Finder windows as possible, rather than opening a new window to reveal each application.
